SPEED DETECTION

Definition

Speed Detection is an intelligent software detecting traffic speeds and violations by calculating in real-time the speed of each vehicle within the vicinity of the camera without any human interference. The software auto-configures the distance between each camera by drawing lines on the highway to allow speed calculation and measuring of average speed. An auto-ticketing system can be integrated into the module as well.

Speed Detection can be integrated with several VEER solutions such as: Make and Model Recognition, Red Light Violation, Sudden Stop, Vehicle Categorization and Color Detection, Vehicle Counting, Wrong-Way, Wrong Parking.
